PE and sport news – December 2019

HO HO HO! Here’s everything that happened during December. Merry Christmas everyone!

02/12/19 – Y3/4 Netball v Lytchett

Our Y3/4 netball teams competed in their second league game of the season. After showing brilliant effort and quality on the ball, they managed to secure a 2-1 victory. Well done boys and girls.

04/12/19 – Y5/6 Boys Football v Heatherlands

On Wednesday 4th December, the boys dominated a well contested game against Heatherlands Primary. Unfortunately, they ended up exiting the cup on penalties. Good effort from everyone.

06/12/19 – Y5/6 Girls Football v St Michaels

Following their success in the 7-a-side Dorset Finals, the girls were back to league action against St Michaels. The managed to record an excellent 7-0 victory. Great determination and sportsmanship from everyone involved.

09/12/19 & 12/12/19 – Dorset Badminton Taster Sessions

An exciting new badminton club is starting in the Spring term! All pupils took part in a fun Dorset Badminton Taster Session. It was great fun and the children really enjoyed taking part in this less than familiar activity! 11/12/19 – Y5/6 Boys Football v St Ives

The boys team played against St Ives in the first league game of the second group stage. It was an extremely well contested game with both teams playing some excellent football. Final Score: Hamworthy 1 v 2 St Ives.
