PE and sport news – September 2019

Welcome back everyone! The PE Team hope that you’ve had a great Summer and are just as excited as we are to get going! Here’s everything that happened during September.

20/09/19 – Year 3 Dorset Cricket Roadshow

After a fantastic Summer of Cricket, Year 3 were treated to a Cricket taster session from Dorset Cricket. All year 3 enjoyed taking part in lots of fun cricket games and activities. If your child would like to play cricket more often, Dorset Cricket are running a Street Cricket Club at Carter Community School on Friday evenings from 5-6pm and it is completely FREE.

25/09/19 – Y3/4 Multiskills Festival

A huge well done to the ten children from year 3 and 4 who took part in the MultiSkills Festival!! You all tried so hard at all the different activities and represented HPJS fantastically. Thank you to St Edward’s Sports Leaders for running the event.

30/09/19 – Y5/6 MultiSkills Festival 

On Monday 30th September, seven Year 5 and 6 children participated in a fun Multiskills Festival at St Edwards School. All the children had a smile on their face throughout and should be really proud of their efforts. Thank you to St Edward’s Sports Leaders for running the event.
