“This school is great because all of the teachers are nice and friendly.” Jess Yr 3

PE Autumn term review 02/01/2019

Wow! What a great first term of the year it has been for PE and sport! Every child in the school has taken part in their P.E lessons which were based around tag-rugby, football, gymnastics and swimming. All children have represented their house in tag-rugby and football house competitions.

Over 180 children have also represented the school in sports fixtures/tournaments against other local schools while attending over 13 different sports events. On top of this, as a school, we travelled over 8713 miles during Beat The Street and came an amazing first place out of all the Poole and Purbeck schools. Finally, we’ve had over 160 children attend an internal club.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to all the parents and adults for their support this term with PE and sport. We’re really looking forward to Spring term and have a lot planned already. Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

"This year we have introduced some new workshops to explore what 'Anti Bullying Week' means to us as a school. We looked at how random acts of kindness can bring a smile to peoples faces and how important it is to recognise our strengths and all the things that make us unique and awesome!
