“I love this school because it has a wide variety of things to do. ” Logan Yr 6

11/12/2018 Y5/6 Football Match v St Ives Primary School

On Tuesday 11th December, HPJS hosted St Ives Primary School is our last group game of the round. Following on from a well earnt point against Lockyer’s Middle School, the children were really looking forward to it. After conceding an early goal, Hamworthy showed great composure and belief in the way we want to play football and continued to get the ball down and play bravely and creatively. Not before long, they were rewarded with a well taken equaliser. Half time 1-1. The second half carried on in the same fashion as the first with Hamworthy creating chances and St Ives defending well and looking extremely dangerous on the counter attack. All the boys showed a great attitude towards each other and their opponents and should be very proud of their performances. A big thank you again to St Ives and to all the parents who came to watch. With this result, Hamworthy progress into the knockout quarter finals which will be played after Christmas.

Final score HPJS 1 – 1 St Ives.
