07/12/2018 Y5/6 Football Match vs Lockyer’s Middle School

On Friday 7th December, HPJS played their first away game at Lockyer’s Middle school. It had rained all day which made the field extremely boggy and difficult to play on. Despite the poor weather, the team played some brilliant football in the first half of the game, creating some good shooting opportunities. During the second half, Lockyer’s began to apply more pressure and had a few attempts on goal however, our keeper made some incredible saves to keep HPJS in the game! The team made some crucial challenges and were able to clear the ball, stopping Lockyer’s from scoring the entire game. Mr Barton and Miss Fripp were really impressed with the team’s resilience.

Final score: HPJS 0 - 0 Lockyer’s.

Mr Barton, Mr Paterson and Miss Fripp.
