Y5/6 Football Match v Upton Junior School 06/11/2018

On Tuesday 6th November, HPJS hosted Upton Junior School in our second PEDSSA football match of the season. It was a good game between two teams who displayed great resilience and sportsmanship. Soon after the game began, Hamworthy took the lead. Throughout the first half, HPJS showed great effort, teamwork and bravery. Half time: HPJS 3 – 0. Despite leading the match, Mr Paterson, Mr Morris and Miss Fripp were really impressed with how the team did not become complacent and let effort levels drop. Instead, HPJS’ performance in the second half was even better than the first.

The boys produced some exceptional individual moments of skill as well as countless examples of great team play. Great attitude and commitment from both teams. Thank you again for everyone who came and supported the team. Final Score HPJS 8 – 0 Upton Juniors.

Mr Paterson, Mr Barton and Miss Fripp.
