“Hamworthy Park is an amazing school, we love the hard work” Year 5 pupil

Football Tournaments at Carter

On Thursday 27th September, 19 children from Years 3 and 4 went to Carter to take part in a football tournament against other schools. Mr Paterson, Mr Morris and Miss Fripp were really impressed with all the children’s behaviour and attitude throughout the event. Both Hamworthy teams played some excellent football and recorded wins over other schools. It was a fantastic effort from all involved, well done Years 3 and 4!!

On Thursday 4th October, it was the turn of 18 boys from Year 5 to represent HPJS in a football tournament at Carter. Both Hamworthy teams came up against strong opposition but they showed great resilience and gave a great account of themselves. There were many moments of good football played and Mr Barton and Miss Fripp would like to thank you the boys for their efforts. Thank you to all of the parents/carers who attended and cheered on from the side lines.
